Press it (pressit.ai) is run by PressIt Labs LLC. We keep as little as a button needs. We don't sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

What we keep

What Why
A random visitor id, in a cookie It's how the button knows your presses and drawer. Made on your first press, not when you visit. Lasts a year.
Your presses When, how each was paid for (pack, free, gift or code), and what it produced. These make your drawer and your things' public pages.
Your email (if you sign in) To send sign-in codes and keep your things and presses across devices. Marketing email only if you tick the box when signing in; any we send will have an unsubscribe link.
Whether you've confirmed you're 18+, and when We ask your date of birth once before your first purchase and keep only the yes/no and the date you answered, never the birthdate.
Your country and state or province Taken from your IP address when you buy and press, to keep Press it to the United States and Canada. We keep the region code, not the address.
Payments Pack, amount, time, and the payment processor's reference. Card details are handled by the processor, never by us.
Your IP address, briefly To stop abuse (rate limits and bot checks). We never store the address itself: only a one-way hash, salted daily, in counters that expire within 24 hours.
Drawer names, gift names and messages, ratings Because you typed them for those features.

Who else sees it

AI providers write and draw most cards. A model receives only our instructions, never anything about you. Today that's OpenAI, Anthropic and Fireworks AI, under their API terms.

Everyone can see a thing at its public link. Your drawer is public only if you make it so.

Services that run Press it:

Analytics

PostHog counts what happens on the site (pages viewed, buttons pressed, things shared) so we can make it better. It never receives your email, payment details, sign-in links or gift codes. If you sign in, it knows you only by a scrambled id. PostHog keeps its own cookie or browser storage for this.

Cookies

Two: our visitor id (above) and PostHog's analytics cookie. Neither is used for advertising. There's no cookie banner because there's nothing to opt into.

How long

Your choices

Get a copy of everything we hold about you: write to support@pressit.ai from your sign-in email (or tell us a press number from your drawer if you never signed in).

Delete it. We erase your email, sign-in account, your drawer, gift names and messages, unused code presses and ratings. Your things stay at their public links with no owner attached, so links you shared keep working. Payment records stay, anonymous. Unused presses are lost; write to us first if you'd like them refunded.

Hide a thing instead: discard it from your drawer, or ask us to take its public page down.

Object or restrict: tell us and we'll stop using your information for anything that isn't needed to run your account.

We answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may have further rights: in California under the CCPA, in Canada under PIPEDA (you can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada), and in some other places under local law.

Children

Press it is for people 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger; the age check is how we make sure. If you think a child has used it, write to us and we'll delete their data.

Changes

If this changes in a way that matters, we'll say so on the site before it applies. The Terms cover everything else.
